CommUnity Zone,
328 Market St, Lewisburg, PA

Join The Swap Movement!
Spend no money, make new friends, keep textile waste out of landfills!

RSVP HERE!

This gathering brings neighbors together to swap children’s clothes, meet other parents, and learn practical ways to reduce waste without sacrificing style or quality.
It’s more than just a place to exchange outgrown items... it’s a chance to build friendships, share advice, and create a stronger local support network.
Families leave with new (gently worn) clothing for their children and a sense of belonging that extends far beyond the event itself.
By showing up, parents help turn sustainability into something social, welcoming, and community-driven.
"Every decision, no matter how small, is a step toward a more just, sustainable, and ethical society. The question is not whether ethical consumerism can make a difference, but how we choose to be involved in making that difference happen." - Elena Puertos

What is Ethical Consumerism? A Guide to Conscious Shopping and Sustainable Choices

Wearing Nothing New
Designer Jessi Arrington packed nothing for TEDActive but 7 pairs of undies, buying the rest of her clothes in thrift stores around LA. It's a meditation on conscious consumption -- wrapped in a rainbow of color and creativity.
