We're thrilled to invite you to participate in our February Bowl Painting Session with folks from the art studio, Centered Earth, and benefiting the Susquehanna Valley Ethical Community Empty Bowls 2026 fundraiser in March. This is your chance to contribute to a vital cause in a fun and artistic way. Paint a Bowl, Fill a Heart At our Bowl Painting Session, you'll have the opportunity to hand-paint a ceramic bowl. Your bowl will be glazed and fired, and then yours to keep as a poignant reminder of hunger within our community and highlights the importance of helping fill empty bowls for our neighbors in need. Centered Earth will donate 30% ($10.00) of the cost of the bowl to support the Susquehanna Valley Ethical Community's mission to combat hunger and provide essential resources to those struggling in our area. Pieces will be available for pickup at the Susquehanna Valley Ethical Community’s Open Bowl Event in March. No Experience Necessary! Whether you're a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, our bowl painting session is open to everyone ages 7 and up! We'll provide all the materials and guidance you need to create a beautiful and meaningful piece of art. The Empty Bowls event brings together local high school artists (Lewisburg & Mifflinburg pottery students), community members, and local chefs in a collective effort to highlight the pressing issue of food insecurity in our region.
