Paint a Bowl, Fill a Heart
Sunday, February 8th 2026
11:00am - 1:30pm

CommUnity Zone, 328 Market St, Lewisburg, PA

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and make a difference! We're thrilled to invite you to participate in our February Bowl Painting Session with folks from the art studio, Centered Earth, and benefiting the Susquehanna Valley Ethical Community Empty Bowls 2026 fundraiser in March. This is your chance to contribute to a vital cause in a fun and artistic way.
Paint a Bowl, Fill a Heart
At our Bowl Painting Session, you'll have the opportunity to hand-paint a ceramic bowl. Your bowl will be glazed and fired, and then yours to keep as a poignant reminder of hunger within our community and highlights the importance of helping fill empty bowls for our neighbors in need.

Centered Earth will donate 30% ($10.00) of the cost of the bowl to support the Susquehanna Valley Ethical Community's mission to combat hunger and provide essential resources to those struggling in our area.

Pieces will be available for pickup at the Susquehanna Valley Ethical Community’s Open Bowl Event in March.

No Experience Necessary!
Whether you're a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, our bowl painting session is open to everyone ages 7 and up! We'll provide all the materials and guidance you need to create a beautiful and meaningful piece of art. This is a fantastic way to unleash your creativity, connect with your community, and support a worthy cause.

CommUnity Zone, 328 Market St, Lewisburg, PA

We invite you to join us for the Empty Bowls Susquehanna Valley Ethical Society 2026 Fundraiser, a special event dedicated to raising awareness and funds to combat hunger in our communities. Get your tickets NOW for March 8, 2026, and join us at the Community Zone in Lewisburg for an impactful day of art, community, and compassion.

The Empty Bowls event brings together local high school artists (Lewisburg & Mifflinburg pottery students), community members, and local chefs in a collective effort to highlight the pressing issue of food insecurity in our region. It's an opportunity to connect, learn, and contribute to a cause that makes a tangible difference in the lives of our neighbors.

By attending Empty Bowls, you're not only getting a bowl of delicious homemade soup+ roll + cookie; you're actively participating in a solution. You are joining a community movement to provide vital support.

Why Empty Bowls Matters
Food insecurity is a stark reality for many individuals and families in the Susquehanna Valley. The Empty Bowls fundraiser directly addresses this issue by providing critical support to local organizations working on the front lines of hunger relief. Your participation helps ensure that those in need have access to nutritious meals and essential resources.

Benefiting Our Local Food Pantries
All proceeds from the Empty Bowls Susquehanna Valley Ethical Society 2026 Fundraiser will directly benefit the Mifflinburg Little Free Pantry and other local food pantries. These organizations play a crucial role in providing food and other necessities to individuals and families facing hardship.
