SVES Board President, Patricia Arduini, has volunteered to act as the Curriculum Director of the SEEK program. Patricia, a retired public school educator , served 26 years in the Mifflinburg Area School District as a 5th grade teacher. We are thrilled to have her expertise in guiding our children in leading ethical and caring lives.
The SEEK curriculum is built to reflect ethical core values. The goal is to provide children with skills and knowledge to help them make ethical choices and learn to respect the inherent worth of every human being. Children are encouraged to respect and learn about themselves and their environment and to examine how their own ideas and actions impact the greater world.
Lessons are developed to aid with the exploration of the Children's Ethical Core Values through books, discussions, reflections, music, and hands-on activities.
