A Buddy
Imagine that you are a young child suddenly finding yourself in a new place to sleep that night. You were moved from the place you had been living in a hurry, and you feel scared. You have nothing to hold onto that belongs to you, nothing familiar which makes you feel safe. Your world has been turned upside-down.
You wish that you had a friend with you-- one who keeps all of your feelings safe and makes you a little bit braver...
Members of the Susquehanna Valley Ethical Society have engaged themselves to putting a cuddly friend into the arms of children who along with their family are temporarily being housed at the Haven Ministry Homeless Shelter in Sunbury, PA.
