We Partner With TerraCycle
The Susquehanna Valley Ethical Society partners with Terracycle to provide collection bins at the CommUnity Zone to recycle alkaline batteries (including AA, AAA, C, D, and 9-volt) and any brand of oral care products including used or empty toothpaste tubes and caps, toothbrushes, toothpaste cartons, toothbrush outer packaging, and dental floss containers.
At TerraCycle, the mission is Eliminating the Idea of Waste®. By recycling or upcycling these items into something else, potential recyclables are being kept out of landfills. Bins are available in the lobby of the CommUnity Zone for environmentally friendly disposal of the above items.
